I am an independent journalist and TV/documentary producer who is working part-time with PWPvideo on various projects. I am based in Washington D.C and my work has appeared in PBS NewsHour, ABC News and VICE. As a national affairs reporter and producer for the PBS NewsHour, I’ve covered two presidential elections, breaking news events and deep dive stories on technology, gender and race. I earned an Emmy nomination for my work on the Nightline special “Crisis in Syria” and spent a year in the West Bank in 2013 as a producer on the award-winning feature documentary Speed Sisters. I am a graduate of the University of Michigan and was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to the UAE where I researched higher education and labor force outcomes.
